Week 1 of working out is complete.
I half assed it at the gym yesterday though. I Just wasn’t feeling it, but I still jogged a quick little half mile and did some strength on the machines.
Something is better than nothing I suppose.
I close tonight at work, so I wont be off until around 10, so I’m not sure whether I’ll go to the gym or not.
I did,however, go buy some healthier foods today.

Today I am going to try to run a mile as fast as I can manage.
Then focus of strength training and maybe go back and do some light cardio and/or incline walking.

pretty much had nothing but sugars and carbs today (pancakes, hummus toast, pasta, and coffee)
I still got in a nice workout though. Did half an hour of cardio (a 2 mile mixture of varying speeds and inclines)
along with 3 20 second planks, 20 side leg lifts, 30 crunches, and some arm stuff on the machines.
I’ll eat better tomorrow, work out a little bit harder, and then maybe let Friday be a rest day for my leg/butt muscles and focus on my core and arms more.

Once I am certain that I will be spending my summer in Texas, I think I will register for the Keep Austin Weird 5K!
Better start working on my running!
